Curator's opinion

"Balázs Virth continues to carry on the legacy of the ‘swimming pope’, Tamás Széchy. He approaches his profession and the public with exemplary modesty, though it is clear that he chose a profession that was brutally difficult and complex. In 2019, with Kapás Bogi's world championship gold medal he not only reached the peak of his career so far, but brought great joy to many of us."
